Ingredients

For the Base
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1/3 cup white grape juice provides sweetness without altering color
  • 3 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberries crushed into powder
  • 2 tablespoons acai powder the key to authentic flavor
  • 2 tablespoons pure cane sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar adds the perfect tang
  • 1/4 teaspoon natural green coffee extract optional, for caffeine
For Serving
  • 1 cup coconut milk not canned—use refrigerated coconut beverage
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 handful fresh blackberries optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • measuring spoons

Method

Create Your Strawberry-Acai Base
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine filtered water, white grape juice, and sugar. Heat over medium-low heat until sugar dissolves completely—about 3 minutes. Don't boil! Overheating will diminish the delicate fruit flavors. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Add Flavor Components
  1. Once slightly cooled, whisk in the acai powder and crushed freeze-dried strawberries. Stir continuously to prevent clumping—those tiny flavor pockets need to dissolve completely! Add vinegar and green coffee extract (if using).
Strain and Chill
  1. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove any undissolved particles. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours—though overnight refrigeration yields the most authentic flavor profile.
Assemble Your Pink Drink
  1. Fill a glass halfway with ice cubes. Pour in 3/4 cup of your chilled strawberry-acai base. Add 1/4 cup coconut milk and stir gently—just enough to create that signature pink swirl without fully incorporating.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Add fresh strawberry slices and a few blackberries (if using). For an extra-special presentation, thread berries onto a decorative skewer. Serve immediately with a reusable straw.
