Ingredients

  • 2 oz Cutwater Tequila Blanco
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz ripe peach puree
  • as needed ice
For Garnish
  • 1 peach slice
  • 1 lime wedge
  • as needed kosher salt optional, for rimming

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • measuring spoons

Method

Prepare the Peach Puree
  1. Start by peeling and pitting ripe peaches. Blend the peaches in a food processor or blender until smooth. You can strain the puree if you prefer a smoother texture without pulp.
Rim the Glasses
  1. If you prefer a salted rim, moisten the rim of a margarita glass with a slice of lime. Dip the moistened rim into a plate of kosher salt to coat the edge.
Mix The Margarita
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the Cutwater Tequila Blanco, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and peach puree. Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture thoroughly.
Strain and Pour
  1. Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Slide a slice of fresh peach onto the rim of the glass and add a lime wedge for an extra burst of citrus aroma.
