Make the Pink Whipped Topping
- In a chilled mixing bowl, add the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the cream until soft peaks form. Add 1–2 drops of red food coloring and gently whip it again until the cream turns a pale pink. Store in the refrigerator while you prepare the shake.
Blend the Shake
- In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, whole milk, and blue raspberry syrup. For added berry flavor, toss in a handful of frozen or fresh blueberries. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency by adding more ice cream for thickness or more milk if it's too thick. Check the color—if you want a brighter blue, add a drop or two of blue food coloring and blend again.
Assemble the Shake
- Pour the blue shake mixture into a tall glass, leaving some space at the top. Grab your pink whipped cream from the fridge and spoon it on top of the shake. You can use a piping bag for a swirled look.
Add Garnishes
- Sprinkle colorful sprinkles or blue sugar crystals on the whipped cream for extra fun. Add a maraschino cherry for that classic finishing touch. If you're feeling fancy, sprinkle some edible glitter to make the shake truly magical.
