Ingredients

For the Latte Base
  • 1 shot Espresso or strong coffee or ½ cup if using brewed coffee
  • 1 cup Milk whole milk or oat milk recommended for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons Caramel syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Toffee syrup optional: use brown sugar if unavailable
For the Toppings
  • 1 dollop Whipped cream homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tablespoon Biscoff cookie crumbs
  • to taste Edible gold dust or golden sugar sprinkles for the magical golden snitch look
Optional Extra Magic
  • 1 splash Vanilla extract for added flavor
  • pinch Cinnamon powder for a warm touch

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • measuring spoons

Method

  1. Prepare your espresso or strong coffee. If you don't have an espresso machine, a stovetop moka pot or a French press works wonderfully. Set it aside for later.
  1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat on medium-low until it's steaming (but not boiling). Whisk gently while heating to prevent burning. If you prefer frothy milk, use a frother or whisk vigorously once it's heated.
  1. In your favorite mug, stir together the caramel syrup and toffee syrup (or brown sugar). Add the shot of espresso or your brewed coffee carefully, ensuring the caramel dissolves completely.
  1. Pour the steamed and frothed milk over your coffee mixture. Gently stir the drink to combine the flavors seamlessly.
  1. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, crushed Biscoff cookie crumbs for a rich, buttery texture, and sprinkle edible gold dust or golden sugar sprinkles on top to dazzle like the Golden Snitch. Finish with a tiny pinch of cinnamon powder for a warm touch.
