Prepare and Chill Ingredients
- Start by brewing a shot of espresso or strong coffee and letting it cool to room temperature or chill in the fridge. Make sure your chocolate milk is also thoroughly chilled.
Mix the Mocha
- In a glass or shaker, combine the chilled chocolate milk, cooled espresso or coffee, Irish cream syrup, and dark chocolate sauce. For a blended version, add a handful of ice to the mixture before blending until smooth.
Add Toppings
- If desired, add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the mocha. For an extra touch, sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies over the whipped cream to enhance the mudslide effect.
Finish with Cold Foam or Whipped Cream
- Finally, top your mudslide mocha with a generous layer of cold foam or whipped cream to give it that signature Dutch Bros flair.
