- Warm the hot fudge slightly in the microwave or on the stove until it's smooth and pourable. Don't overheat—it should still be thick and gooey.
- In a tall glass or parfait cup, add 1-2 tablespoons of hot fudge sauce. Spread it evenly at the bottom.
- Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream over the fudge layer. Use a spoon to spread it gently, ensuring you can get distinct layers in your parfait.
- Add a layer of roasted, salted peanuts on top of the ice cream. This provides the salty-crunchy contrast that defines the treat.
- Add another layer of hot fudge, ice cream, and peanuts. Repeat until your cup is full (or until you run out of ingredients!). Reserve a few peanuts for garnish on top.
- Drizzle one final layer of hot fudge on top, sprinkle a few peanuts, and, if you'd like, add some whipped cream or a cherry to complete the presentation.
