Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups vanilla ice cream high-quality vanilla works best
  • 0.75 cup whole milk cold
  • 0.5 cup peach puree fresh or frozen peaches blended smooth, or canned peach puree
  • 2 tablespoons peach nectar adds extra peach flavor and sweetness
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract optional, enhances vanilla flavor
  • 1 pinch salt balances sweetness
For Topping
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream optional

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • measuring spoons

Method

  1. Add 1.5 cups of vanilla ice cream to your blender first. This prevents the liquid from splashing and helps create a thicker, creamier consistency.
  2. Pour 0.75 cup of cold whole milk over the ice cream, followed by 0.5 cup of peach puree and 2 tablespoons of peach nectar. The combination of both puree and nectar creates the authentic Chick-fil-A peach flavor.
  3. Add 0.25 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors and balance the sweetness, just like the original.
  4. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Do not over-blend, as this can make the shake too thin. Stop when you reach a thick, milkshake consistency.
  5. Pour the milkshake into a tall glass. If the shake is too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk and blend briefly. If too thin, add more ice cream.
  6. Top with whipped cream if desired, and serve immediately with a straw and long spoon for the best experience.
