For the Latte
  • 1 cup Cold Brew Coffee
  • 0.5 cup Oat Milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons Pumpkin Pie Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • handful Ice Cubes
For the Cold Foam
  • 0.25 cup Oat Milk chilled
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar or Sweetener
For Garnish
  • Caramel Drizzle
  • 1-2 teaspoons Graham Cracker Crumbs
For Homemade Pumpkin Pie Syrup (Optional)
  • 0.25 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 0.25 cup Sugar or Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice or 0.5 tsp cinnamon, 0.25 tsp nutmeg, 0.25 tsp ginger

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • measuring spoons

Method

Prepare the Cold Brew Coffee
  1. If making cold brew at home, combine coarsely ground coffee with cold water in a 1:4 ratio and steep for 12-16 hours in the fridge, then strain and chill. Alternatively, use ready-made cold brew from your local grocery store.
Make the Pumpkin Pie Syrup
  1. In a small saucepan, mix 0.25 cup pumpkin puree, 0.25 cup sugar (or maple syrup), and 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring until smooth. Cool the syrup before use.
Blend the Coffee Base
  1. In a glass, mix the cold brew coffee and oat milk. Add 2-3 tablespoons of pumpkin pie syrup (or adjust to your sweetness preference). Stir well. Add a handful of ice cubes to chill and dilute slightly.
Create the Cold Foam
  1. Use a milk frother or blender to froth chilled oat milk and a teaspoon of sugar until it's light and airy. This step adds the creamy top layer similar to Chick-fil-A's version.
Assemble Your Iced Pumpkin Latte
  1. Pour the prepared coffee base into a tall glass filled with ice. Gently top with the foamed oat milk. Drizzle caramel sauce over the foam and sprinkle crushed graham crackers for that signature finishing touch.
