Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sprite or any lemon-lime soda, chilled
  • 1 Tablespoon grenadine syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon cranberry juice
  • 1 Tablespoon blueberry syrup
  • Ice cubes
Optional Garnishes
  • Fresh cherries
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Fresh cranberries
  • Lemon or lime slice

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • measuring spoons

Method

  1. Fill a tall 16 oz glass with ice cubes. A clear glass works best to showcase the beautiful ruby-red color of the drink.
  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of grenadine syrup into the glass first, followed by 1 tablespoon of cranberry juice and 1 tablespoon of blueberry syrup. These layered syrups create the signature Cherry Berry flavor.
  3. Slowly pour 1 cup (8 oz) of chilled Sprite into the glass. Pour gently to preserve the carbonation and watch as it mixes beautifully with the berry syrups.
  4. Use a long spoon or straw to gently stir the drink, mixing the syrups with the Sprite. Be careful not to overstir—you want to keep those fizzy bubbles intact!
  5. Optional but recommended: Add fresh berries on top or thread them onto a cocktail stick for that authentic Chick-fil-A presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

PRO TIPS FOR THE BEST CHERRY BERRY SPRITE:
Use CHILLED ingredients: Keep your Sprite and syrups refrigerated before mixing for maximum refreshment.
Adjust sweetness to taste: Want it sweeter? Add an extra 1/2 tablespoon of grenadine. Prefer it tangier? Increase the cranberry juice slightly.
Make it diet-friendly: Substitute Diet Sprite or Sprite Zero and use sugar-free syrups to reduce calories significantly.
Batch recipe for parties: Multiply the syrup measurements by the number of servings needed, but only add Sprite right before serving to maintain carbonation.
Storage: The syrup mixture (without Sprite) can be prepared ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Add Sprite fresh when ready to serve.
No blueberry syrup? Make your own by simmering 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water for 10 minutes, then strain.
Substitute grenadine with cherry syrup, pomegranate juice (reduced), or maraschino cherry juice for similar results.
COST SAVINGS: This homemade version costs approximately $1.50-$2.00 per serving compared to $2.89+ at Chick-fil-A!
